As we all are already aware that how important a landing page is. This is the page where your visitors will land, giving you the limited time to showcase your specializations and explain how your business can be beneficial for them if they use your products or services. You have to show what’s in there for them.

It must include all the required information to explain about your product and services, Your USP  (user sales proposition), what makes you different from your competitors, clear Call to Action(CTA) and a short video that explain about the product/ service in a creative way to grab the attention from your website visitors.

Your website visitor is not very likely to stay for more than a minute. So, if you fail to capture his attention once he lands on your website they will probably leave. When your visitor lands on your page, he is likely to think “What is in it for me?” You must be able to capture his attention immediately. This way the visitor will interact more with your Website means the bounce rate will decrease.

What Actions you want your visitors to take.

You must decide what actions you want your website visitors to take. This can vary depending on your business goals. For example: you want to them to download your free e-book or go to any particular page etc.

Quality Content with Images:

Your Landing page must have high-quality relevant content with all the information required to explain about your products or services. Add quality images with your content to attract the attention of your visitors.

This is vital as if they won’t understand what you are offering, they won’t buy from you.

Responsive Design:

Your Landing page should be responsive. Most people visit websites on their smartphones, tablets. If the page is not responsive you will end up losing lots of potential customers.

Add Video to your page:

Adding a short video gives more boost to your website, users who don’t want to read the content of your website may check out your video and this gives you another chance to target that audience. Make sure not to set it to start automatically. You never know where your visitor is standing when viewing your website, especially nowadays with mobile devices. And you never know how loud the speakers are, you don’t want to scare them out of their chair with a blaring video that suddenly, unexpectedly starts playing!

Offer Free Trial:

Offer a free trial of your service in exchange for your visitor’s email address. This method is very much effective in building your mailing list.

You can give a special report or a sample of your paid product to your visitors.

Call To Action:

A clear call to action on your website is a must. It advises your website visitors where you want them to go. “Do you want them to visit your services page”, “Want them to go to contact page” or “want them to ask you for a Quote”? whatever it is, keep it clear and design you each call to action with a nice looking button. Consider A/B testing of button colors and see which is performing better.

Design:

Last but not the least, your landing page should have a great design, as the design is the first thing that catches the attention of the visitors. Align your design with the colors matching your logo. Long story short, nice looking professionally designed web page will always perform better.
